Photography

In 1991, I signed a contract to write a book on Scottish castles – and provide the illustrations. 

Horrified by the cost of pictures from libraries, I brought three teach-yourself photography books and two Canon SLR cameras – one for colour film and one for black and white – and started to learn how to take pictures. 

Some of my images have been used in books, and one on a front cover. I’m still learning.
